We're looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our Oakland team.
Golden State Logistics has been moving containers at California's ports since 1996. We're a drayage company that competes on keeping our commitments, and our dispatchers are where those commitments get kept.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and dispatch daily drayage moves in and out of the Port of Oakland
- Coordinate with drivers, terminals, customers and our LA/Long Beach team to keep freight on time
- Track appointments, last free days and chassis to protect customers from detention and demurrage
- Give customers clear, proactive updates when plans change
- Keep load records accurate and current in Trinium TMS
What We’re Looking For
- Drayage dispatch experience
- Working knowledge of terminal operations, appointments and container flow
- Trinium experience strongly preferred
- Calm under pressure and organized when the day doesn't go to plan
- A good communicator
